The second edition of ‘Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert’, taking place from 8th – 11th December 2022 in Al Marmoom Desert is an initiative launched by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority in 2020 aimed at giving emerging filmmakers in the UAE and the region the platform to showcase their work in a unique and sustainable environment “The Al Marmoom Natural Conservation Reserve”.
The initiative aligns with the cultural vision of Dubai to establish the city as a global Centre for art and culture and to position it as an incubator for creativity and ensure that it remains a thriving hub for talent.
